The Akron Public Library currently has some beautiful paintings on display, courtesy of local artist Beverly Cowell. The art gallery-type tracks used to hang the artwork were purchased by the Akron Friends of the Library and will be used to display various art collections throughout the year. The paintings are located at the stairway near the entrance of the library. The library also has plans to create some additional space for more local art displays in the near future.
